Those of you who have access to Swedish TV4 may have seen my Mairo pillows (Styvmorsviol) in the “news couch” in the mornings. The studio is decorated by Stefan Nilsson, one of the most medial trend experts.

The pattern Styvmorsviol, which has received considerable attention for its powerful and dynamic watercolor print, now comes in a new color scheme. In Styvmorsviol Linda has let watercolor meet fabric. The playful and artistic shall rub off on the person using the pattern and the context it is used in.

The petals are swaying in the wind. She is proud of where she stands on the meadow with the other violets. The grass is green and lush. Spring is in the air!

Today Linda visited Mairo to overlook the printing of a new and exciting pattern she has created for them. The pattern, that will be used for many different products,  is quite different compared to Linda´s other work. Unfortunately we can´t reveal any pictures of the pattern yet, so you´ll have to wait for the launch at Formex, Stockholm in august 2010.

Mairo releases two patterns designed by Linda – “Hosta” and “Ranka”.
